The Nuttall Oak is a vigorous broadleaf Oak that is tolerant to poorly draining soils and also easily transplanted. The Nuttall prefers slightly acid to neutral pH and is able to tolerate annual flooding once established.
The Overcup Oak not only transplants with ease, but also tolerates soil that does not drain well. This vigorous broadleaf Oak prefers slightly acid soils and is able to tolerate annual flooding once established. Acorns produced by the Overcup Oak are covered with a cap.
The Sawtooth is a vigorous Oak that produces large quantities of acorns at a relatively young age (usually starting at 6" caliper). This variety is adaptable to a wide range of soils and growing conditions, those with slightly acid to neutral pH.
The Willow Oak, with its narrow, willow-like leaves, is both vigorous and tolerant of poor soil conditions. Also, small half-inch acorns are produced by the Willow Oak.
